Substitute Teacher Certification

Individuals interested in obtaining a substitute teacher permit/certificate should visit the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) website by clicking here.  You will need to create an account through The Educator and Certification Hub (TEACH) if you do not already have one.  A list of the requirements for obtaining a local substitute permit are also available- please click here for that list.  Specific questions regarding the certification process should be directed to the NDE.
