District Music Contest

On April 20th Beatrice Concert Choir is competing at the District Music Contest in Norris. They will be lead by vocal instructor, Kelly Meyer.
Mr. Meyer feels that it’s good to get evaluated from quality judges. Meyer said “For choir this is comparable to state in other sports. We get compared to the other schools in our district.”
The choir will be singing a
“Prayer for the Children” by Andrea Klouse
“Awake the Trumpets Lofty Sound” by George Haudel
"Festival Sanctus" by John Leavitt.
"Festival Sanctus" was also preformed by the choir during their last concert with the Beatrice Regional Orchestra and Norris High School.
