The HOMESTEADER, The Beatrice High School yearbook, is published by the journalism class under the direction of the Homesteader Staff. The staff is composed of students and faculty advisor. The advisors selects the student members. Because the Homesteader does not contain advertising, cost of the publication are met almost entirely by book sales. Journalism 1 is a perequisite to becoming a member of the Homesteader publication class.
