The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of BHS.  To be eligible for membership in National Honor Society,  the student must be a junior or senior an have a cumulative scholastic average of at least 3.500 or higher.  Candidates will then be required to fill out an application from that will be reviewed by a faculty committee.  Membership to this organization is based service, leadership and character.  Not all students with a 3.500 scholastic average will qualify for this organization.
